Welcome to the story of Debbie and Wendy, a Silver Beaver tale of love that bloomed later in life, defying conventional timelines, expectations, AND the avoidance of a U-haul.

Debbie, is a seasoned emcee, auctioneer, and speaker. She is a fundraising consultant and partners with non profits and schools to help them elevate their fundraising  experiences. When Debbie isn't raising money for non profits or emceeing events, she can be found hiking, camping, or kayaking on a Colorado mountain lake. 

Wendy, the musical force behind the rock band Dear Marsha, pours her heart and soul into her music, captivating audiences with her raw talent and infectious energy. When Wendy isn't nerding out on all things music, she is most likely hiking or camping somewhere in the Colorado mountains.

Though their paths had crossed in the past, it wasn’t until June 2022 that fate intervened, bringing them back into each other’s lives when Wendy asked Debbie to emcee a women’s music event. It was during the Women Who Rock the Rockies event that Debbie and Wendy felt a spark that took them both by surprise, a connection too strong to ignore. Their love story blossomed, proving that age is just a number when it comes to matters of the heart. Debbie and Wendy are rewriting the rules of romance, painting their own silver beaver fairytale filled with laughter, love, and endless adventures.
